Anaesthesia

On request, certain treatments can also be performed under local anaesthesia or twilight sedation by Dr Sascha Dörrmann!

Local anaesthesia (regional anaesthesia):

Local anaesthesia is used in particular for lip treatment with dermal fillers and for hyperhidrosis treatment on the hands and feet. A local anaesthetic is injected directly into the nerves supplying the treatment area using a very small needle. This provides regional and temporary pain relief. On the hands and feet, this is always associated with temporary restricted movement. The anaesthetic wears off after approximately 1 1/2 hours. Please take this into account when planning your time.

For treatments with fat-away injections, surface anaesthesia is achieved by applying an anaesthetic cream before the treatment begins.

Twilight sleep (analgosedation):

If you would prefer not to be aware of the entire treatment, it can also be performed under twilight sleep upon request. This puts you in a light sleep that allows you to forget time and space. However, you continue to breathe independently and can be addressed and awakened if necessary. Please note that you are not permitted to drive after the treatment and must arrange for a suitable person to accompany you home.
