Hair loss therapy

AC therapy is a new, promising treatment for tension-related hair loss (alopecia contentionalis). aPRP therapy can be very successful in treating circular hair loss (alopecia areata) and androgenetic hair loss.

Stress-related hair loss is often combined with itching, burning or so-called hair pain (trichodynia) of the scalp. By increasing blood flow to the scalp through muscle relaxation with botulinum toxin type A, the supply of oxygen and nutrients to the hair roots is optimised. This eliminates hair pain and stimulates or increases hair growth.

Circular hair loss (alopecia areata) and androgenetic hair loss can also sometimes be successfully treated by injecting autologous blood/platelet-rich plasma (aPRP) into the scalp. Stem cells and growth factors stimulate microcirculation and the hair roots. This can slow down hair loss and support new hair growth.
