When accessing our WEBSITE, the user is informed about the use of cookies for analysis purposes and their consent is obtained for the processing of personal data used in this context. In this context, reference is also made to this privacy policy. The use of interactive offers is only possible with cookies.

The purpose of using technically necessary cookies is to simplify the use of websites for users. Some functions of our WEBSITE cannot be offered without the use of cookies. For these, it is necessary that the browser is recognised even after a change of website. The use of analysis cookies is also for the purpose of improving the quality of our WEBSITE and its content.

The analysis cookies tell us how the WEBSITE is used, enabling us to continuously optimise our offering. Cookies are stored on the user’s computer and transmitted to our WEBSITE. As a user, you therefore have full control over the use of cookies. You can deactivate or restrict the transmission of cookies by changing the settings in your internet browser.

Cookies that have already been stored can be deleted at any time. This can also be done automatically. If cookies are deactivated for our WEBSITE, it may no longer be possible to use all the functions of the WEBSITE to their full extent.

5. How do we use web analysis technologies?

We use so-called web analysis or tracking technologies to continuously improve our internet offering. Depending on the provider of the web analysis tool, their servers may be located abroad. See also ‘Disclosure of your data’ below.

We mainly use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. To deactivate Google Analytics, Google provides a browser add-on at http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Google Analytics uses ‘cookies’, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site (see above). The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.

Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the WEBSITE, to compile reports on website activity for website operators and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will never associate your IP address with other data from Google and will only pass it on to us in anonymised form.

You can prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting your browser software settings accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this WEBSITE to their full extent.

Google complies with the data protection provisions of the Privacy Shield Agreement and is registered with the Privacy Shield Programme of the US Department of Commerce and uses the information collected to evaluate the use of our WEBSITE, to compile reports for us and to provide other services to us in this regard. You can find out more at http://www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/privacyoverview.html. By using this WEBSITE, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

We also use Google AdWords, an analysis service provided by Google, and conversion tracking within the scope of Google AdWords. Google AdWords places a cookie for conversion tracking on your computer’s hard drive (known as a ‘conversion cookie’) when you click on an ad placed by Google. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages on our WEBSITE, Google and we can recognise that you have clicked on the advertisement and been redirected to this page.

If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can refuse the setting of a cookie required for this purpose – for example, by using a browser setting that generally deactivates the automatic setting of cookies – or by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain ‘googleleadservices.com’.

The information obtained with the help of conversion cookies is used to compile statistics. These statistics tell us the total number of users who clicked on the ad placed by Google and visited a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag.

In addition to conversion tracking, we also use the following functions

Remarketing

Target groups with common interests

Custom target groups with common interests

Target groups ready to buy

Similar target groups

Demographic and geographic targeting.

With the remarketing function from Google and other providers, we can reach users who have already visited our WEBSITE. This allows us to present our advertising to target groups who are already interested in our products or services. AdWords also uses user behaviour on websites in Google’s advertising network (‘Display Network’) over the last 30 days and the context-sensitive search engine to determine the common interests and characteristics of users of our WEBSITE. Based on this information, AdWords then finds new potential customers for marketing purposes whose interests and characteristics are similar to those of the users of our website. Target group-specific remarketing is carried out through the combined use of cookies, e.g. Google Analytics cookies and Google DoubleClick cookies.

6. Social media

a. We use social media to present our work via popular and current communication channels. Each social media platform has its own guidelines governing how your personal data is processed when you visit its pages. For example, if you watch one of our videos on YouTube, you must expressly agree to the use of cookies on the YouTube page. The same applies to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, XING and LinkedIn.

If you have any concerns about the use of your personal data or any questions in this regard, you should carefully read the privacy policies of these services before using them.

b. Plug-ins from various providers such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+ are integrated into our pages. The plug-ins are marked with the provider’s logo and can be, for example, Like buttons or a Google+ button or Twitter button (for example, you can find an overview of Facebook plug-ins here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/).

When you visit our pages, the plug-in establishes a direct connection between your browser and the provider. This provides the respective provider with the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. We would like to point out that we have no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted or its use by the respective providers. For the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing of your data by the provider, as well as your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to the providers’ privacy policies.

7. Disclosure of your data

Skinline Aesthetics Swiss has its main location in 8592 Uttwil. A secondary location is at the Hirslanden Clinic Stephanshorn in St. Gallen (Dr. med. Sascha Dörrmann only). By using the WEBSITE and its services, the user agrees that their data may be transferred within these locations and processed by them. This may be done not only to fulfil the purpose specified by the user, but also for reasons of group-wide accounting, reporting, optimisation of IT services and marketing. In doing so, Skinline Aesthetics Swiss guarantees compliance with the principles of Swiss data protection law. Employees of Skinline Aesthetics Swiss may only view or process the data if this is necessary for the fulfilment of their tasks at Skinline Aesthetics Swiss.

We may also pass on your personal data to third parties in order to make use of technical or organisational services that we require for the fulfilment of the aforementioned purposes or our other business activities. Our service providers are contractually obliged to process personal data exclusively on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions. We also require our service providers to comply with technical and organisational measures that ensure the protection of personal data. If the service providers are located in countries where the applicable laws do not provide for the protection of personal data comparable to Swiss law, we will contractually ensure that the service providers in question comply with Swiss data protection standards.

We may also disclose your personal data if we are required to do so in order to comply with applicable laws and regulations, in court proceedings, at the request of the competent courts and authorities, or due to other legal requirements, or if we deem it necessary to protect and defend our rights or property.

8. How long will my data be stored?

All stored personal data will be deleted immediately and irretrievably as soon as it is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected, the user agreement has been terminated or you request this, unless Skinline Aesthetics Swiss is obliged to retain it due to legal regulations. However, aggregated or anonymised data that does not identify the user may be used for internal purposes.

9. How do we protect your data?

We have taken technical and organisational measures to ensure that data protection regulations are observed both by us and by external service providers working on our behalf. When data is transmitted unencrypted in an open network (for example, when you send us messages or other information), it may be read, altered or destroyed by unauthorised third parties. Any transmission of data to or from the WEBSITE is therefore at the user’s own risk.

10. What are my rights?

You are entitled to request information about your stored personal data at any time. In addition, you can request the correction, transfer, partial or complete deletion and blocking of individual personal data from the responsible body at any time, provided that this request does not conflict with any legal retention obligations. Furthermore, under certain conditions, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.

You may also exercise your right to object to data processing at any time without giving reasons.

You can revoke your consent to the provision of information and advertising via newsletter or your registration for other services at any time in the respective newsletter or on the other registration page or via the following email address:
